Lion Alper Koçulu explained the disaster relief efforts of Lions in Europe towards the devastating earthquake in Türkiye.
▪︎ Ways of Giving: He mentioned that Lions are making donations to LCIF for Türkiye, or directly to Lions in Türkiye, or to global NGOs in Türkiye.
▪︎ Website: He mentioned that all Lions efforts coming to Türkiye is listed in www.lionsafet.com/en. And Lions can always use the contact information in the website to request their own generosity to be listed.
▪︎ From the Heart: He thanked everyone helping out and also to PID Elisabeth Haderer for including this subject to the agenda of the fireside.

▪︎ How do you see New Voices of the future?

Each room explained their outcomes from their breakout room to everyone in the fireside.
▪︎ Room 1: LGBT New Voices, New Voices of color, and New Voices from ethnic minorities are still not heard enough. How about embracing a New Voice within each club in CA IV?
▪︎ Room 2: Youth Camps and Exchange is a great program to select more New Voices from youth.
▪︎ Room 3: New Voices can exchange ideas among districts, countries, or constitutional areas.
▪︎ Room 4: Instead of selecting a New Voice from four areas (service, membership, leadership, marketing), we can just pick New Voices who think outside the box.
▪︎ Room 5: A New Voices Newsletter would be a great way to catch up!
Lion Antti Forsell was the special guest of the event.
▪︎ PenPal Project: He presented how members from all over the world can contact each other online for an everlasting friendship to become even better Lions and Leos.
▪︎ Fit in Now: The project aims new members to have friends and network immediately!
▪︎ Number 6: The project embraces six topics in six months.

Are you a woman? A young adult? Or a member of an underrepresented population?
Make a dynamic and innovative contribution in one of the four areas: service, membership, leadership or marketing.
Your contribution can be on club, district, multiple district or international level. It can be from this year or recent years.
Submit your contribution as a story to your District New Voices Chairperson until the end of this year. You can find the application form here.
If your district does not have anyone in this role, contact your District Governor. If the New Voices Initiative is not known in your district, feel free to contact us, the New Voices Team Europe. And we will support you.
